“… Tu kya marega? Tu haath toh utha, main maroonga tujhe. Woh bhi teri party main, aur tere doston ke saamne.”

Salman Khan said to Shahrukh "… Your show Paanchvi Paas is a big flop and now you are trying to sabotage my show. You are a matlabi insaan. You only call people when you need them, and then don't keep in touch."

Shahrukh Khan

Shahrukh replied "… No one wants to watch your show, or be friends with you". At this point, Salman told SRK to keep quiet or he would beat him up.

"… Tu kya marega? Tu haath toh utha, main maroonga tujhe. Woh bhi teri party main, aur tere doston ke saamne." The two men stared at each other and would've come to blows within minutes had Gauri not intervened and told SRK that she wanted to leave.

This all happened at Katrina Kaif's Birthday Party (as reported by Mid-day) when SRK and Salman came face to face. These over 40yrs old HEROS are really kids in REAL life, what say?

13-year-old crosses border for SRK

AMRITSAR: His obsession for Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan made him flee his home in Pakistan and cross man-made borders, only to be caught by those guarding these. But luck was on his side and he was handed over back to the Pakistan Rangers after completing the formalities.

The desire to meet the actor was too much for Mohammad Alim (13), a resident of Khangarh in Mujjaffarnagar, Pakistan, and son of Faiz Bakash, a poor vegetable vendor, that he crossed over into the Indian side. He was the youngest of the four brothers and sisters, he said. It was routine patrolling along the international border late on July 13 when a BSF patrolling party spotted a young boy arriving from Pakistan near Mahwa border. He was asked to stop and arrested.

During interrogation he maintained that he was a die-hard fan of Shah Rukh. He even enacted scenes from his movies, which were sufficient proof for the BSF to trust his intentions.

BSF DIG Mohammad Acqil said, "Alim was allowed to go after completing the necessary formalities and interrogation by the security agencies. Once we were satisfied we informed the Pakistan Rangers about him, who acted swiftly and confirmed his address and other antecedents in Pakistan," said a senior BSF official, who didn't want to be quoted. A flag meeting was held at the Indo-Pak joint checkpost at Wagah and Alim was handed over to the Rangers.

Shahrukh takes his next stride in Television

Shahrukh Khan

Shahrukh Khan has decided that its time he takes his next stride in the small screen and not just anchor shows. King Khan will soon turn a producer for the entertainment channel E24. The channel is run by Anuradha Prasad of the B.A.G Films & Media Limited. SRK's better half Gauri Khan will be hosting a chat show on the channel

Shahrukh incidentally started his carrer in the small screen with the serials like Dil Dariya, Fauji and Circus. Shahrukh had also hosted the third season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. However his last show Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hai failed to impress the audience and the channel had shorten the number of episodes in the show.

‘I had to wake up at 6.30 to belly dance’

Tanyeli, the most famous Turkish belly dancer the world has ever seen, is known to charge as much as US $40,000 for a performance, but for Bollywood the beautiful belle makes a concession. "I charge only US $25,000 because I love India, the people, culture and Bollywood.

I have a huge collection of Hindi film DVDs," she told BT after shaking her belly and booty for Apoorva Lakhia's Mission Istanbul. "He's not an easy man to work with," she complained, "I had to wake up at 6.30 am every day. And I hardly danced a minute before everyone started shouting, 'Stop, Cut!' I'm really not used to that. At home, my day begins at 11... I'm the master of the stage and nobody tells me what to do."

But she enjoyed the experience and may be doing another dance number for Apoorva in his next Bollywood film. She's been dancing since she was 18, that was 12 years ago, her mother was a belly dancer and so was her grandmother. "Belly dancing isn't entertainment; it's an important art form. It's far away from getting atop bar tables and providing cheap thrills. It's aesthetic, beautiful, and graceful and requires unique talent," said Tanyeli who has met Shah Rukh Khan and is known to the Kapoors and Sanjay Khan's family.

Turkey being a Muslim country, belly dancing wasn't easy for her. "But I'm loyal to my culture, and I respect my profession, so people respect me. I'm not looked down upon," said Tanyeli who believes she introduced Indian culture in Turkey. "I learned belly dancing in the authentic Turkish Anatolian style, but to bring
about variation in my performance, I began belly dancing to Bollywood numbers. One of the first Hindi songs that I danced to was Awaara Hoon... I don't know Hindi, and I didn't know it was a sad song," rued the dancer.

Kajol to play role Shah Rukh's wife

Kajol to play role Shah Rukh's wife

Bollywood's hottest on-screen couple is back after seven years. Kajol has finally agreed to do Karan Johar's next titled My Name Is Khan and plays Shah Rukh Khan's wife in the film about an Indian couple living in the US.

The two were last seen as couple in Karan's 2001 family saga Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

When the media reported the news of her being considered for the role in My Name Is Khan early last month, the actress had retorted by saying that without reading the script she would not give consent to work in a movie.

According to a source close to the production house, soon after that she went on a holiday with her family and there was a lull on the My Name Is Khan front. It has now been learnt that she has given the green signal to the movie.

Though the movie is scheduled to be launched in December, a buzz has already started about the composer trio, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, who have scored some "outstanding" tunes for the movie.

Those who have heard some of the tunes composed with dummy lyrics say that one of the highlights of My Name Is Khan will certainly be its music.

The launch of of the film has been deferred till December because at present Karan is busy with Dharma Productions' other movies, including the Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra and John Abraham starrer Dostana. The film is due for release later this year.

Karan is also planning to launch his erstwhile assistant Ayaan as a full-fledged director. Incidentally, Ayaan is Kajol's first cousin.
