Shahrukh Khan isn't one to use his ailments to cancel or postpone shoots. The actor recently completed an action sequence for Billoo Barber.
No time to recover
Says a source, "Ever since SRK hurt his knee playing football in London while on holiday, he hasn't had time to recover completely. First he shot for a rain song despite having a painful swollen knee for Yash Raj's Rab De Bana Di Jodi with actress Anushka.
Khan suffers from water retention and was terribly uncomfortable. In spite of that, he finished the schedule at Yash Raj on time. Except Adi, he didn't inform anyone at Yash Raj about his injury."
After the Yash Raj shoot, King Khan recently completed an action sequence for his home production Billoo Barber directed by Priyadarshan. Talking about it About SRK's professionalism, he says, "He had hurt himself prior to the shoot but you would never realise it the way he has performed the action scenes."
Priyan further informs, "We shot the scene in Film City with action director Thyagarajan and Shahrukh had to learn Alayi Hejje, a very difficult dance art form. He worked on it and learnt it in a short time. Alayi Hejje is a south form of stylised action-dance which was used in old movies with ropes and fighters. We completed the action scene in four days."
No complaints
Priyan admits that he had heard about SRK's knee injury. and is all praise for the actor. "Though he was in extreme discomfort and pain, not once, did he show express pain, or complain. Shooting got completed on time," signs off Priyan who is currently shooting in Pollachi for Billoo Barber.
Perpetual stress
Khan prefers to dismiss his pain. He says, "Actually my knee is perpetually in stress. It has never become alright post my two surgeries some years ago so it pains every now and then and so I don't cancel shoots or work because of it. I had hurt my leg playing football. When I dance or fight, my shin and then my knee always gets like this. It's no big deal, really."

It was around midnight 12 AM, Friday 19 July 2008, Shah Rukh Khan made entrance to the party at Olive Bar & Kitchen, Bandra along with Gauri and Karan. There were already almost complete Bollywood present in Katrina's Birthday Bash given by Salman Khan. Stars were swinging in latest DJ numbers, wine was flowing like river and as usual Sallu miya was getting high. 
Aamir Khan, who was then busy along with his wife Kiran in the party had to rush to his peers and try to stop their brawl. But even he was not spared due to his blog comments. Still he managed to control Salman Khan and take him to another room. As soon as Salman went to another room, Shah Rukh Khan came out of the party. It was around 2:15 AM. Reporters had already gathered outside the party place. SRK casually talked about his forthcoming movies, and even expressed his wish to work along with Aamir in future. Nothing special was known about the incident till then.
