He was accompanied by his friend, actor Nikhil Diwedi. Shah Rukh reached the venue at around 9:30 pm. The whole engagement was quite a low key affair. Both the stars were there for around two hours after which SRK took a flight to London. In true SRK style, he made the couple dance, and also shook a leg with them on the dance floor. However, Nikhil preferred to just watch. He said, "I had to be here, as I have worked with Mr Dhoot for about six years.

For the first time on television, Shah Rukh Khan's brother-in-law Vikrant and mother-in-law Savita disclose some funny moments about his life

On Sunday's episode of Tere Mere Beach Mein hosted by Farah Khan, Vikrant teases SRK saying he sacrificed his acting career just to see his jijaji become King Khan. Everyone has a good laugh when Vikrant then describes how pathetic SRK sounded when he asked permission from Vikrant to dance with his sister Gauri. "Main yaha hi khada hoon, tu kar le dance. Aur ek baat samaj le, hanky-panky nahin hona chahiye," Vikrant warned SRK before letting him dance with Gauri.

The superstar's mother-in-law confesses that she wasn't too happy with her daughter's decision to marry Shah Rukh, but that she accepted him later. She says that SRK is her advisor now and that she gets very tense when his movies don't do well at the box office.

SRK then describes a funny incident that occured when Karan Johar was directing his first movie and they were having dinner together. SRK's mother-in-law Savita ji apparebtly said, 'I don't think this guy can make a movie, he is such a small and sweet boy; you have to be a director like Yash Chopra.'

The SRK episode was 'Joru Ka Ghulam' It saw SRK as the complete joru ka ghulam where he came and proudly accepted that he is one. His brother-in-law and mother-in-law came and shared interesting stories from the days of their courtship and it was the first time they were on national television.

The Main Hoon Na for this one was a couple where the husband is a complete pet of his wife and is happy being one. They also received a gratification of a trip to goa. There was also an Agony aunt section where SRK became the agony aunt and answered different questions of the studio audience pertaining to the topic of the day. SRK gives his billu jacket for auction.

SRK says he has come to the show because Gauri has asked him to... it's a demand.

Whenever there is a party it is Gauri who is in charge of everything and SRK comes there and stands the way he is asked to.

Gauri's brother comes and narrates a story. It was a party where SRK wanted to dance with Gauri and her brother was there. SRK nicely went and asked for permission. So while SRK and Gauri danced her brother stood there inspecting the whole act.

SRK's mother-in-law comes and says that SRK is just like Gauri's father who is also a complete Joru Ka Ghulam and SRK adds that his father was also one. So it's the family tradition that he is carrying forward.

Shah Rukh Khan appeared on Farah Khan's talk show

They made for some light banter with brother-in law Vikrant remembering the time Shah Rukh took his permission to dance with Gauri for the first time. He warned Shah Rukh not to indulge in any hanky panky before giving the nod.
Shah Rukh Khan appeared on Farah Khan's talk show, Tere Mere Beech Mein for the last episode. It was also the first time that he was accompanied by his in-laws, brother Vikrant and mother Savita.

Also, Gauri's mom, Savita, was not too happy with her daughter's marriage to Shah Rukh, but she accepted him as her son-in-law the moment he got married. She reveals how her bonding with Shah Rukh has grown over the years and she now looks upon him as her advisor. She admits she gets very tensed if one of his films does not do well at the box office.

He may be over 40 years old, but is very thankful to all for this award as he has been waiting for this for a long time! SRK thanked God and his mother for it and shared that it was actually his mother who made him capable of receiving the award.
And going by the nomination list, there were Abhishek Bachchan (for Aishwarya Rai), Anil Ambani (Tina Ambani), Hrithik Roshan (Suzzane), Sachin Tendulkar (Anjali), Akshaye Kumar (Twinkle).
On winning this the actor said that he has not won the award just because Farah is his friend and it was not fixed either. But it is his right to bag this award! "Yeh mera haq hain aur maine haq se jeeta hai!" quipped SRK.
Interestingly, SRK went on to say that he washes his wife's feet every morning and drinks the water.

Under the mentorship of Give India, this initiative put together by Madhabi Puri-Buch of Toofles Foundation and partnered by Jean-Christophe Babin, President and CEO of TAG Heuer Worldwide, brought together the powerhouse of India Inc to walk the ramp in support of various charitable initiatives. This powerhouse of 44 CEOs included Adi Godrej, Deepak Parekh, Prasoon Joshi, Piyush Pandey, Anil Chopra and Venugopal Dhoot to name a few.

The participants, walking in groups of four, were dressed in custom-made outfits by star designers Narendra Kumar, Sabyasachi, Wendell Rodericks and Arjun Khanna. Jean-Christophe Babin also walked the ramp in a Narendra Kumar ensemble.

TAG Heuer brand ambassador Shah Rukh Khan also graced the occasion to support this unique, innovative endeavour on the part of TAG Heuer which will facilitate various NGOs across the country to raise money, resources and awareness about their various programs. The evening also saw actor Kunal Kapoor and professional models walk the ramp showcasing exquisite TAG Heuer timepieces and accessories. The show was attended by Mumbai's swish set.

Mumbai: Besides being a pro at wowing all with his charm, Shah Rukh Khan is also deft at taking the 'Khan-dan' to greater heights. The megastar, having become a major pillar of Bollywood, is fast becoming a fighter of causes. First he took the detention-incident to air his wittily thinking side, now he is honing his double-edged sentences to be even more pregnant with meaning.
Talking about his upcoming film 'My Name Is Khan', he defended his role perfectly. The golden couple Kajol-SRK is here again to considerable promise, but allegations of having lifted the theme from a Holywood flick are abuzz, too.

SRK told a news daily, "The Indian media is quick to jump to conclusions. They say it's a desi 'Rain Man.' I say 'Rain Man' was about an autistic man, this one is about guy who is afflicted with the asperger syndrome. The intellectuals are making things too complex; we need simple guys like Khan to solve the issues of the world."

Who can say it better than you, King-Khan. Now only the film remains to be seen to judge if the director does justice to what you say!
