Shahrukh Khan being idolized in Break Ke Baad

Shahrukh Khan, king of romance, is being idolized in Kunal Kohli's "Break Ke Baad". His life has been inspiring to numerous aspiring artists. He is followed by several fans who try to tread the path trailed by SRK in his acting career. The leading stars of "Break Ke Baad" Imran Khan and Deepika Padukone will be seen paying tribute to the legendary actor of Bollywood. Since there are several upcoming talents who are admirers of SRK's style so is Imran Khan who adores him too. He apes SRK's style in dance steps in the title track "Dooriyan" of his movie "Break Ke Baad".

Deepika Padukone who debuted with Shahrukh Khan in Om Shanti Om still gets into non-plus situation in the presence of King

Khan. She also replicates SRK in the movie. There is one situation where she gets drunk and in that state she claims to be Shahrukh Khan. Apart from her imitation she is playing the character of aspiring actress. And Imran Khan is portraying the character of theatre owner.

"Break Ke Baad" is directorial venture of Danish Aslam where Imran Khan and Deepika Padukone play childhood friends who fall into love but get estranged from each other later on. As the title suggests it is about post break up doldrums when both are separated by long distances but managed to revive what is left in their relationship. "Break Ke Baad" is a romantic comedy that is being shot in Delhi, Mumbai and Mauritius. It comes with an unconventional pairing of Imran Khan and Deepika Padukone.

Shahrukh Khan Caught In The Jittery Road For ‘Don 2’

Priyanka Chopra

and Lara Dutta have finally met in Berlin, and how! Recently, Priyanka Chopra, the hot sexy gal of B town, touched Berlin and landed bang on to the sets of Ritesh Sidhwani's  'Don 2',directed by Farhan Akhtar, where the rest of the cast and crew had already assembled much before.

Reportedly, the two hotties, Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta hardly could be called friends at the moment, as the fact is that as Priyanka walked in to the sets of the film, both of them just barely managed to exchange a thin line, that could be given an award for the frostiest smiles ever, and then Priyanka moved on to gel with the other members of the cast and crew, and greeted Shahrukh Khan with the friendliest warmest greeting!

Well, so to speak, Lara had reached Berlin, where the shoot is taking place a week before and thus she seemed quite comfortable with the members of the film unit, however, Priyanka, who had to stay back in Mumbai due to an ad shoot, was a tad bit late in joining them.
However, since Lara and Priyanka have met after a gap of almost eight years(they had worked in 'Andaaz' together in 2002,being a debut film for both of them),both were slightly awkward in their stance, but hope fully they do start gelling well as time passes.

But, the question is, how on earth will Shahrukh manage the cold vibes between both his leading actresses? Gossip columns are rife with SRK being caught on the jittery road for 'Don 2', thanks to the two leading ladies!

But, let's hope SRK manages to create some sort of warmth with his cool dude attitude, and thus create an atmosphere of a happy ambience on the sets of 'Don 2',otherwise it will be difficult to decide which is more biting, the cold winds in Berlin, or the cold vibes flying between Priyanka and Lara?

SRK turns singer

Shah Rukh Khan will be playing a cameo in the film — Shah Rukh Bola Khoobsurat Hai Tu.

Shah Rukh KhanWhat's even more interesting is the fact that he has sung a song in the film. This is the second time the actor has taken to singing. The first song he sang was Apun Bola for the film Josh.

Shah Rukh Bola Khoobsurat Hai Tu is directed by Makrand Deshpande. The film has a relatively different story line from the usual potboilers. It is about a girl who sells flowers on the road to make money for her family.  She is a Shah Rukh Khan fan and believes that at some point of time in life, she will meet him and act with him.

One day, she hears a person asking for some flowers. She goes over and finds her idol Shah Rukh sitting over there. She faints with excitement till Shah Rukh grabs her and says khoobsurat hai tu (you are beautiful). Excited, she tells everyone about the incident but nobody believes her. She decides to prove it to them some day.

Shah Rukh Bola Khoobsurat Hai Tu stars Kay Kay Menon, Preetika Chawla, Afzal Khan and Nagesh Bhosle in pivotal roles. It is slated to release on November 19 and will be clashing with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Guzaarish, starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, at the box office.

Shah Rukh looks forward to twentieth year of marriage to Gauri!

Shah Rukh looks forward to twentieth year of marriage to Gauri!
They make the most ideal husband-wife pair. The couple have a relationship that most can only dream of and it will now move into their twentieth year of marriage. Shah Rukh Khan is still a devoted husband, a fact known to one and all. Despite being in the film industry and surrounded by countless beautiful actresses and besotted fans (especially females!), SRK is the rarest of them all, having never even had a fling or even a rumor linking him to any of his co-stars, something which we cannot say about any other super stars of the film industry .

Die-hard fans of Shah Rukh Khan will know that this October the 25th, SRK will celebrate his nineteenth wedding anniversary to Gauri. The two got married on October 25th 1991 and so next October (2011) they will be completing twenty years of marriage. And what does the superstar feel about this?

According to media based sources, Shah Rukh Khan is really looking forward to his twentieth year of marriage but insists that since they have known each other for eight years before marriage so it will be nearly thirty years of knowing each other. Shah Rukh had a very good advice for couples saying that it's very easy to become a couple but very difficult to be one and that their married life is still as well as new because he and Gauri have been a couple instead of trying to become a couple.

Well, definitely SRK is an icon everyone can emulate in real life, an ideal husband, a caring father, a devoted friend, an outstanding actor and Bollywood's first truly global super star.

Shahrukh Khan has a new name!

Can't think of a name more befitting a superstar? Shahrukh Khan - he who has 'the countenance of an emperor'. But now, the actor has chosen a new name for himself, jocularly though.

Shooting his film Don 2 in Berlin, Shahrukh has been binging on the Japanese dish Sushi, to which he confesses to have been introduced by Priyanka Chopra, co-star of Don.

"Priyanka introduced me to sushi. Got to see so many varieties of cold fish on a cold nite. Feeling Japanese. My new name now is Wong Khan," SRK wrote on Twitter after his binge on the fishes.

The superstar has been having fun with director Farhan Akhtar and producer Ritesh Sidhwani while shooting in Berlin.

"My producers Farhan & Ritesh are too sweet...hope I do a good job for Don 2 and they succeed in this venture. Too much fun & cold," SRK added.

Lara Dutta in Don 2

Lara Dutta and Priyanka Chopra come together after six long years (Andaaz) and the vibes are colder this time around

Lara Dutta plays Shah Rukh Khan's moll in Don 2, the role Eesha Koppikhar  played in the original. Meanwhile,  Priyanka Chopra encores the leading lady's role.

The shooting in Berlin, as they say, won't be a breeze.

Icy winds blew across Germany's capital city the minute  Priyanka  landed. Says a source, "Lara was already there a week before PC.

An insider reveals, "The two barely exchanged hellos with frosty smiles before directing their warmth to Shah Rukh and director Farhan Akhtar."

Their history

The two beauties have a history. They were crowned Miss World and Miss Universe the same year. They started their careers in Andaaz.

And though Lara (playing a grieving widow, if you please!) had the author-backed role, it was Priyanka who waltzed away with the stardom and the plum assignments with Akshay Kumar.

Ever since, Dutta has steered clear of offers to work with the actress. She was hesitant to sign on for Don 2.

It was only when Farhan assured her that her  role would be fleshed out that she agreed to be part of the film.

Also lead actor SRK, has a soft spot for Mahesh Bhupathi's new fianc ©e ever since she agreed to act in his home
production Billu a part every actress in town had refused.

Never easy

Even without their past differences, things between them were never going to be easy. When any two actresses shoot together, there is always stress.

They worry about who has the better room, better fee, better clothes, better scenes... the list is endless.

Naturally, Pranks was already wary, edgy and exhausted when she arrived in Berlin a week after her former friend and now fierce rival, had already gotten comfortable with the unit. Lara clearly has a headstart.

Insecurities surface

The two divas came face-to-face six years later ¦ and  were not quite ready to act the long-lost sahelis.

The fact that they have unequal roles, is reason enough for them to be suspicious of each other. One has been promised the "leading lady" part and the other, "an important role."

The insecurities have already surfaced with the two ladies choosing to remain in  their own corners for as long as possible.

Says a close friend of Priyanka, "To begin with,  their roles are unequal. If you see Esha Koppikhar's role in Don you'd know what Lara is playing."

Priyanka has had a very stressful ad shoot and dubbing, which had to be completed in two days. In addition, there was a section of the industry trying to demolish her performance in Anjaana Anjaani.

She left in a depressed frame of mind. The last thing she needs in Berlin is a stressful ambience."

Your response, Lara?
