Sachin dances on Shahrukh's tunes

Who says only actors and Bollywood stars have fun at other�s expense at awards functions as our cricketers can give most of them run for their money. At the recently held Sahara India Sports Awards Virendra Sehwag was in high spirits. He challenged none other than King Khan to make Sachin dance and betted he will do anything for King Khan if he made it possible.

Shah Rukh took up the challenge and brought Sachin on the stage. An awfully embarrassed Sachin moved sideways, did a small cute jig until SRK rescued him and put him out of his misery. Apparently Sachin seldom attends parties or dances like his contemporaries. In the past Sreesant, Harbhajan, Yuvaraaj have tried to make him dance but in vain. But now Sehwag can gush about it taking credit.

Shah Rukh made Sachin Tendulkar dance

Trust Shah Rukh Khan to achieve the near impossible. He made Sachin Tendulkar dance. This is how it went down.



At the recently held Sahara India Sports Awards hosted by SRK, Virendra Sehwag was called on stage by King Khan to dance, and Viru, in turn challenged SRK to get Tendlya on the stage.

He even bet the actor that if he managed to do so, he would do anything for him in return. Shah Rukh took up the challenge and brought Sachin on the stage.

Shah Rukh Khan Explosion on a movie set!

Confusing scenes at the weekend in the middle of Berlin: helicopter circling over the fairgrounds, smoke draw on Germany Hall, injured are loaded into ambulances and a fire engine exploded with a huge bang!

A fire mushroom rising in the night sky, blazing flames, forces of police and firefighters are on site.

This scenario was fortunately not a real bombing or a terrorist act. It was "only" about the shooting of Shah Rukh Khan's latest film "Don 2".

The Indian superstar has been chasing many Berliners with such massive action scenes certainly a shock.

SRK offers olive branch to Bhansali?

Tabloids are buzzing with reports that superstar Shahrukh Khan offered an olive branch to friend-turn-foe filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, on Friday night.

As per sources, Sanjay was busy looking after with his special guests, he had invited for the private screening of his latest film 'Guzaarish' at the Yashraj Studios, when he got call from King Khan.

For a moment Sanjay seemed surprised after seeing SRK's number flash on his mobile after two long years, but he recovered quickly and went out to take the call.

As per eye-witnesses, assistant directors, who were standing quite close to Sanjay, were equally surprised when they heard filmmaker almost scream with joy into his phone, "Hi, Shah Rukh."

Reportedly, the duo chatted away for good 20 minutes before deciding to bid adieu to each other on friendly note for the day.

Sanjay seemed extremely pleased after the call, though refused to tell anyone about his conversation with Shahrukh.

However, he did say, "I can't tell you everything that we spoke. But SRK did say that Devdas was his best and this is our best."

About SRK-Bhansali rift
SRK and Sanjay became friends while shooting for 'Devdas' in 2002.

All was well between the talented duo until the fateful day of Nov. 9, 2007, when SRK'S 'Om Shanti Om' and Sanjay's 'Saawariya' released in theatres.

SRK's film turned out to be a hit, while Bhansali's failed miserably. After this at one of the press events, Shahrukh ended up saying few nasty things about 'Saawariya' and why he thinks it failed.

Bhansali, who was already upset with the failure of his film, felt betrayed, as it was not expected from the person, who calls himself his friend.

Bhansali did not stay silent either and shot back at SRK with his statement, "Gags and jokes at senior actors do not make a film great. Cinema is not about laughing at legends. If we don't do something new, our cinema will become a stagnant pool of gags and jokes masquerading as a masala entertainer."

Since that day, Bhansali and SRK did not even talk to each other.

Rightly said, "All's Well That Ends Well."

Shah Rukh Khan's OK! as India's sexiest dad

Well, SRK says ok to OK! On being voted as India's Sexiest Dad, who are we to argue. If we had our way, then, we would have only elevated it a step further and would have 'crowned' SRK as World's Sexiest Dad.

First things first, all the pictures in this mag are nothing short of a sheer visual treat! In this issue of OK magazine, SRK goes onto confess, "I would love to have more children." Talking about children, SRK with paternal pride says "My son has learnt how to edit and my daughter loves to act, so I try to make films all the time." SRK wakes up Hrithik!

It's the star-wives' club at work. Mrs Shah Rukh Khan and Mrs Hrithik Roshan have brought their two superstar-husbands together.

On Friday night when Shah Rukh Khan watched Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Guzaarish with his close family and friends he was so moved by the film and Hrithik Roshan's performance that he yanked his younger colleague out of slumber and made him immediately drive down to his bungalow Mannat.

No one says no to King Khan. Dead tired and fighting off a viral attack Hrithik had no choice but to drive down to Mannat. Shah Rukh and Hrithik discussed Guzaarish and Hrithik's performance until 2 am.

Says a source, "Shah Rukh had asked for a print of Guzaarish because he's very fond of Hrithik. Also because Shah Rukh had played a physically challenged character in My Name Is Khan. He was curious to see how Hrithik had approached the character of a physically disabled hero. What started as profession inquisitiveness turned into a complete involvement with the onscreen goings-on. Shah Rukh felt Hrithik in Guzaarish excelled his own performance in My Name Is Khan.Shah Rukh also feels Guzaarish was way superior to what the director Sanjay Bhansali had achieved with Shah Rukh in Devdas."

Half-way through the film Shah Rukh rang up Hrithik and asked him to come home immediately. The two are close friends and their wives are even closer.

Says Hrithik, "In fact Sussanne was already at Mannat. When Shah Rukh wanted me to go over I had no choice. He's always very generous."

It is rare for a colleague to be so generous towards another colleague's stand-out performance, specially when he has given an equally riveting performance in the same genre during the same year.

Says a source, "Shah Rukh in My Name Is Khan and Hrithik in Guzaarish portraying two inspirational protagonists suffering from a crippling disability, will be the two top contenders for the best-actor nominations this year. By so generously acknowledging Hrithik's performance Shah Rukh has dissolved the competitive edge between two superstars."
