Shah Rukh Khan is G.One in Ra.One

Shah Rukh Khan's character in the upcoming super hero film Ra.One is called G.One for Good One.

"G.One stands for the good one & sustainer of life. To protect life he is ready to put his own [on] the line. Hope u all like him....will show soon," Khan tweeted on May 31.

The 44-year-old actor, who has had to loose a lot of weight for his super-hero role, joked that he feels G.One could well stand for Gaunt One.

"After losing so much weight i feel g stands for the gaunt one," he tweeted.

The name of the film - Ra.One - is short for Random Access Version 1. The film targets kids and is about a superhero who can freeze electricity.

Khan plays a Miami based software engineer named Shekhar, who as a video-game hero takes on his self-created techno-monster Ra One.

The film, set in London, additionally stars Kareena Kapoor and Sahana Goswami.

Kareena plays lead in the film, opposite Khan, as a young mother of an eight-year old. When he falls in love with Kareena, Khan imagines her as one of the characters.

Sahana's character in the film helps out Shah Rukh's when a gaming character causes problems for him.

"Ra.One is a very ambitious project. It's a film that kids will enjoy for sure. It's not only for kids but the idea is also to bring action to a different level. It's hugely experimental," says Arjun Rampal who plays villain in the film.

American singer Akon recorded a song for the film in Mumbai.

Filming started in India on March 24 and is close to wrapping up. Next, a schedule is planned in London, starting in the first week of July.

The film will have state-of-the-art special effects provided by Hollywood technicians.

Karan Johar's inputs were implemented in Ra one

Karan Johar may not be associated with Shah Rukh Khan's Ra.1, but the filmmaker believes in lending a helping hand to his buddy's project.

While visualising SRK in the role of a superhero, KJo provided several inputs that were incorporated in the project. Says an insider, "Shah Rukh gave a draft of the script to Karan for his opinions. He read it thoroughly and suggested changes that were implemented."

Apparently, Ra.1 director Anubhav Sinha is aware of Karan's involvement and inputs in the story and had no issues. For him, the project is hugely challenging.

Adds the insider, "Karan's sensibilities and his way of working and writing has really helped Shah Rukh in his projects. It's been a good collaboration. So who else could visualise and provide inputs for SRK as a superhero?"

Also, as Shah Rukh is for the first time stepping into the realm of sc-fi and superheroes, he wanted to get everything just right. As the insider puts it, "SRK is very attached to Ra.1's script as this movie will have him do a lot of high octane action. Moreover this techno-savvy project is for his kids. It will be a drastic change from his romantic hero image on screen."

Karan remained unavailable for comment. But a source close to confirmed that he had provided inputs to the project.

What’s cooking between SRK, Shilpa?

There's something cooking between Shah Rukh Khan and his former co-star Shilpa Shetty — and the whole unit of Ra.One is just grinning with delight

Shah Rukh Khan is all set for the London schedule of his ambitious project Ra.One. With shooting to start there in the first week of July, all logistic arrangements are being given the once-over to make sure everything is in place when the unit finally arrives in the city.

With food being such an integral part of the any Indian outing overseas, a very special arrangement has been put in place for the cast and crew. The meals for the unit — all authentically Indian stuff — will be delivered on the sets by a chain of restaurants owned by Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra in London.

Incidentally, the chain has as many as 15 restaurants and 12 takeaway joints spread over London. SRK's production house has assigned them the entire responsibility of feeding the unit during its stay there.

Our source said, "Shilpa and Shah Rukh have been great friends since Shilpa made her debut in Baazigar (1993). Though they never worked together after that, Shilpa made time for the title song of SRK's Om Shanti Om.

They have also been interacting quite regularly during the IPL matches, because they are both stakeholders in different teams. During one particular match, Shilpa mentioned to him that she was going to get more involved in the chain of restaurants in London owned by her husband. SRK promptly said that he would come and visit them whenever he was in London.


When the London schedule of Ra.One was being planned, Shilpa was surprised to get a call from a production person asking for a contact number in London to finalise a deal for food for the entire unit. So, now everyone on the Ra.One team is looking forward to some good Indian food from Shilpa's restaurants.

Shilpa herself can't stop talking about SRK and how he not only remembered that conversation, he came good on his promise."

When contacted Shilpa Shetty's spokesperson confirmed, "Yes, Shilpa's restaurants would be supplying food to the Ra.One unit and chicken curry, made famous by Shilpa during her Big Brother stay, will definitely be on the menu."

Shahrukh to board a local train

Shah Rukh Khan is in Goa shooting for his most ambitious film Ra.One. SRK is leaving no stones unturned to put the best in the film and now that director Anubhav Sinha wants to shoot in a local train he is getting one made.



He had the option of shooting at real sites but permissions and timings would be a problem, considering all that SRK got his art directors to build a brand new train for the movie.



It did take some extra effort for getting the train ready but it was certainly worth it. Now the team can shoot whenever they want as it looks as good as the real train.

May 29, 2010, (Sawf News) - Dressed in all black, Shah Rukh Khan exuded 'mature' style at the I Am She 2010: Miss Universe India Pageant finale on Friday, May 28.

The 44-year-old Bollywood star wore a black suit, black shirt sans tie, and black dress shoes to the event at The National Centre Performing Arts, in Mumbai.

His spiked up gelled hair added to his height, which still fell short of Sushmita Sen's as the two walked the red carpet together and posed for the photogs.

Shah Rukh was his usual jocular self as he answered questions from the press.

After the event, Shah Rukh tweeted:

"attended sushmita's i am she miss india universe contest. met all the young girls participating...such beauty in the dreams of youngsters.

joked with judges & contestants.sreesanth,vivek,farah & shobha.had a great evening & thought of my daughter stepping out in the real world."

Also present at the event were Kareena Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi, Saif Ali Khan, Neha Dhupia, Farah Khan and cricketer Sreesanth, among others.

Miss Stefania Fernandez, Miss Universe 2009 was the special invitee to the event. She arrived in India on May 26.

Ushoshi Sengupta, 21, was picked to represent India at the Miss Universe 2010 beauty pageant at Las Vegas, Nevada in August.

The run-up event to the pageant was organized by Sushmita Sen's production company, Tantra Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. (TEPL), which is a licensee for Miss Universe India Pageant 2010.

SRK pulls out of IIFA

Even as there is much talk about Bachchans not getting attention IIFA this year there is one more celebrity who opts out of IIFA.and it's none other than SRK.

 Shahrukh has not been much of a consistent visitor to the IIFA.

 

This year things were definitely looking better considering the fact that he had earlier asserted his presence in IIFA.

 

 

However now the actor says he has too much work left to be completed and hence IIFA will have to do without him.

 

"Don't think I will be able to come for IIFA. Too much work here, will miss Colombo," he declared.

While speculations about his abcence st such a big event are bound to arise the fact also remains that the actor is indeed busy with the shooting of Ra.One which has been going behind schedule.

  SRK in the meantime is quite stressed with all production related issues and is required in Mumbai.

SRK's gift to Anubhav

Shah Rukh Khan is a great producer and this comes as a testimony from all directors he has worked with right from Amol Palekar to Priyadarshan to Anubhav Sinha. 

 

While they have admitted that never does the actor interfere in their creative processes he also takes care of his team like family. And this was seen when he gifted Anubhav Sinha a cycle. The director has been complaining about stress and no time to exercise.

“My Name is Khan” to gather in Rs 30 million from DTH

The Shahrukh Khan-Kajol starrer "My Name is Khan" has been a blockbuster. Its box office collection was Rs 735 million.

It has managed to conquer the box office when it was released in cinemas in February 2010. Its domestic as well as overseas collection has been outstanding. But now distributors have decided to bring it to small screen as well.

Now it is all set to sweep the television as it is going to being telecast in almost all major DTH platforms in the country from 27th of May. I will be seen on Tata Sky, Dish TV, Sun Direct, Airtel Digital TV, Videocon D2H and Big TV.

Fox Star Studios CEO Vijay Singh has informed that the company has decided to put the movie on DTH platforms to monetize the film.

The viewers have to pay sticker price of Rs 50 to view the movie in DTH.

Most importantly the distributors are expected to raise revenue of Rs 30 to 35 million from the film from this DTH platform.

Shah Rukh’s burning up the screen

A few days ago, Shah Rukh Khan tweeted about his bout of ill health. However, this has not kept the star from fulfilling all his professional commitments. The actor is busy shooting an advertisement for the toothpaste brand he endorses at Film City, since the last three days.
Shah Rukh was running a temperature of 104 degrees, but it did not let it hinder his shoot. SRK could have easily cancelled the shoot, instead he chose to complete the assignment. The shoot lasted several hours and required numerous retakes, which Shah Rukh gave patiently and without complaining. Since SRK’s co-star in the ad is child actor Keval, multiple shots were needed till Keval got it just right. But Shah Rukh played the perfect “dad”, encouraging Keval at every cut and keeping him entertained.
Now we know why SRK is called King Khan.

Bollywood ' King', Shah Rukh Khan, outdoes his counterparts in professionalism.

Pepsodent toothpaste has a new face; the 44-year-old actor completed a shoot as the latest spokesperson for Pepsodent, regardless of his sickness.

Khan arrived at Mumbai for three days to film "Pappu and Pappa". At that point, he was running a fever, nevertheless he chose to finish the shoot rather than risk his professional status by canceling it.

A source commended the behavior of Shahrukh, as there were no complaints from him of the long hours on a set or the numerous takes. He acted like a dad to his child co-star Keval, encouraging him through the many takes until he got it right.

Bollywood superstar misses working with Juhi Chawla and director Aziz Mirza with whom he teamed up in the initial days of his career.

Shah Rukh gave hits like Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman (1992), Yes Boss (1997) and Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani (2000) with Juhi and Mirza.

Mumbai, May 25 (IANS) Shah Rukh Khan’s dream project “Ra.One” might be taking some time on the technical front due to its unusual theme, but Arjun Rampal feels if all goes well, the sci-fi thriller will be “path-breaking”.

Arjun plays a villain in the Anubhav Sinha directed movie.

“We have been working very hard to bring a vision together. I think Shah Rukh is very clear about his vision, so is Anubhav. We are working as a team to achieve it. And if we achieve it, it would be a path-breaking movie,” Arjun told IANS.

The films is about a superhero who can freeze electricity and the actor says it will appeal to children.

After Amitabh Bachchan joined the micro blogging site twitter just a few days ago, he was welcomed by SRK, with a message that would have made Big B smile, at Shahrukh's enthusiastic acknowledgement .

However, the message had come after a gap of a few days, which had led to much speculation from the media regarding their sour relationship. But, as SRK twittered, all speculations were swept below the carpet.

From Shah Rukh to Sachin Tendulkar everyone is tweeting their every opinion and gaining followers by the second and no surprises then that King Khan has tweeted his way to the top. And Big B was the first person to congratulate SRK on crossing the four lakh mark He wrote: "Shah Rukh congrats! You crossed 400,000... meri gaadi thoda dheeli chal rahi hai..." Shah Rukh wasn't the quickest off the block but his popularity more than made up for it. "I try and rub shoulders with the best....." he tweeted. Amitabh Bachchan's bandwagon as he says may be moving slow but at his age he is probably the most followed star on twitter of his generation. Big B currently boasts of 1,00,240 followers not too shabby for just a week onboard. His reasons though are a little different and as usual the media is his inspiration. A lakh is hardly any competition to SRK, the closest though is the star from the world of cricket Sachin Tendulkar. Tendulkar has already reached 362,650 in a couple of months and could surpass the Khan. His best friend Aamir though is missing in action may be Mr Perfect's is waiting for his next release before he hits the Twitter with a vengance. It wouldn't be the first time a star has done it! 40s aren't the new 30s for Karan Johar

Film-maker Karan Johar, who is spending his 38th birthday in New York this year, is missing the company of his mother Hiroo with whom he has spent this special day every year. The film-maker also says that he is feeling funny because he is approaching 40 as he does not endorse the saying '40 is the new 30'. Karan says it's not so good a feeling that he is getting old.

"I'm really missing my mother. I have always been there with her to celebrate every birthday but this time I'm in New York and I can't be with her. There is no special plan on my birthday. I have a few friends in New York I will meet them and there's no one flying down from Mumbai. New York is like the other end of the world and I'm liking it here. You can mix with the grid. I came here to get an inspiration for my next movie. So, it's going to be a low-key birthday for me," KJo tells DNA.

The producer-director adds, "When you are 38, I'm sure birthday is just another day for you.I'm turning a year older and I'm touching 40. I don't believe in 40s are the new 30s. I just think the saying is just to comfort those who are getting old. 40s are 40s and you will never feel like the way you felt when you were in your 30s. So, I have a funny feeling in my stomach. I'm concentrating on my next film though which will be a youthful one. I want to do a fun film now."

Ask him why he's zoning towards light hearted cinema after making back to back movies like Kurbaan and My Name is Khan both dealing with terrorism and he shoots, "I have done some really heavy work and now it's time to have some fun. My Name is Khan made my head and heart heavy with its seriousness and how deep the issue was and it has taken a lot of time to come out of that space. That's why I came out of Mumbai too as I had clear my head to think new. In Mumbai there's no time to think for my next as I always have something or the other to do. Shah Rukh Khan: Dedicated but not Diverted

May 25, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Well everyone knows what a workaholic Shahrukh Khan is! But the Badshah of Bollywood is dedicated to such a level that, despite of being bogged down by high fever, he continued shooting for the Pepsodent ad, for which he is the new brand ambassador.

The advertisement shooting was being done at Filmcity studios for three days and it is called "Pappu and Pappa."

The dimpled actor, who had a temperature of 104 (Fahrenheit), did not let this come in the way of his work, and carried on without disrupting the shooting the schedule.

The shoot also included a child artiste called Keval and King Khan waited patiently till the kid got all his lines right, and did not even complain when the youngster had to do several retakes.

The warm actor that he is, Shahrukh even encouraged the young boy to do his part well, just like a father would do to his son.

The ad is about a father and his young son played by the little boy.

We all knew, Shahrukh was a humble and a dedicated actor, but the superstar that he is, he definitely is very patient and still more devoted to his job!! All we can say is Mr. Khan keep it up!

MNIK at Google!

The buck on My Name is Khan just does not seem to stop. Soon after the US release of the much celebrated film it has not found its way to the Google headquarters. On Monday the film was screened at the office as a part of a regular seminar initiative by Google. 

The screening was a part of their regular Authors@Google series which are interactive sessions with writers from around the world. This time around it was Shibani Bathija, the writer of MNIK who was at the seminar. The screening was followed by a question and answer session.

Without the doubt the writer was jubilant. Some other recent writers at the Authors@Google are Jane Mayer, Travis Millard, Kurt Beyer, Bill Wildavsky, Dave Barry, Amy Goodman, David Remnick, Kelly O'Connor McNees, Jack Brown, Peter Nowak and Steven Weinberg.

In the meantime MNIK has been garnering some mixed response to its mainstream release. In fact Karan Johar has been in New York for quite some time now enjoying the reactions and also taking a break from all the work in Mumbai.

Lara Dutta to sizzle in Don 2

The tall and the lovely Lara whose comic timings are packing theatres 'Housefull' is likely to smoke the screen with her hot charms in Farhan Akhtar's 'Don 2'. The sequel to SRK starring 'Don' which was a stylish remake of the Bachchan blockbuster 'Don' will have the ex beauty queen most likely playing the part of the sexy Zeenat Aman.

But there is a twist in the tale, as officially the production walas has not yet confirmed the role of Lara in the film but it's confirmed that Lara is already undergoing kick boxing and marshal arts training for the role.

Shah Rukh refreshes his childhood memories at the tragic place Mangalore

May 22 marked the day of grief and pain when the AIR India flight from Dubai crashed at Mangalore airport where more than 150 people lost their lives. The Bollywood stars display condolence for the victims and their family and friends. Shah Rukh Khan shared his thoughts on this tragic accident and revealed his connection with Mangalore.

SRK tweeted on his blog, "It's awful when lives end so suddenly. Prayers for the families whose loved ones passed away in the plane crash."

"Evil and tragedies were made by God because only in the face of them our nobler (sic) thoughts crop up. Realization of mortality makes us good," added SRK.

Unveiling his childhood memories with the place, Shah Rukh added, "I was brought up in Mangalore. My grandfather was the engineer in chief for the Mangalore port. All my childhood pics are taken there."

Around 30 friends of the Badshah of Bollywood — Shah Rukh Khan — got together two nights ago at Mannat to watch Hrithik Roshan’s latest movie.

Since Hrithik was travelling around the city for his promotions; the gang invited his wife Sussanne Roshan and Barbara Mori (who they have all grown very fond of) to join in the revelry.

Heard late at night, Hrithik too joined the party and he was beaming because he received endless compliments from many of his friends including the magnanimous SRK.

I'm hiding my look for 'Ra.One': Arjun Rampal

The cat is out of the bag. Model-turned-actor Arjun Rampal has finally admitted he has been concealing his look for Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming superhero movie "Ra.One".

Rumour mills were abuzz that Arjun, who reportedly plays a villain in the movie, wears a bald look and unkempt beard in the same as he has been visibly hiding it with a woolen cap in the recent months.

Asked about this, Arjun said: "Yes. That's correct. I can't reveal my look from the film right now... I am not allowed to."

"'Ra.One' will take sometime right now and you'll come to know about it as time passes," added the actor, who has also toned down for the movie.

Shah Rukh lends his voice to KJo’s ‘I Hate Luv Storys’

Starting his modest innings in theatre, Shah Rukh Khan came a long way as he metamorphosed from a one-time soap star to the King Khan of Bollywood. Nevertheless, it seems SRK is following the footsteps of Big B, for the actor is all set to make his foray into dubbing studio.

News has it that Shah Rukh Khan will lend his vocals for Karan Johar`s much-awaited flick 'I Hate Luv Storys.'

Talking to a news daily, a source said, "It was a last minute decision to use SRK`s voice. Karan wanted a simple narration for the film. So, he requested SRK. It is believed SRK is not too keen on giving voice-overs. He has turned down requests by many filmmakers. But with Karan, it is different and he could not refuse."

"SRK`s voice will be used in the first five minutes of the movie when its lead cast is introduced," the source added.

Directed by Punit Malhotra, 'I Hate Luv Storys' stars Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor.

Speaking about the relevance of SRK's voiceover in the film, Punit said that there are several instances in the film where references are drawn from SRK's films, thereby making his voice all the more important.

King Khan steals the 'Tag Heuer Tesla Roadster' show in Gurgaon

The Bollywood King Khan Shah Rukh Khan and F1 Racer Karun Chandhok grabbed all the attention at Ambience Mall, Gurgaon, while celebrating Asia Premiere of Tesla Roadster and 150th anniversary of Swiss Brand Watchmaker Tag Heuer.

Both, Shah Rukh and Karun, are the brand ambassadors of the Swiss brand.

The King Khan captivated the crowd and all his fans were shouting just on seeing him.

The promotional event will be a 15-city world tour for which Tag Heuer and Tesla Motors, an electric car-maker, have come together for 'Tag Heuer Tesla Roadster' show.

The seven-year brand ambassador King Khan, along with Karun Chandok, has started a 15 city world tour 'Tesla World Tour: The Odyssey of Pioneers'. The tour will be a traveling roadshow that will showcase the finest timepieces of Tag Heuer.

SRK gets estranged couple together

Okay, this is a true story, we have not changed the names of the couple involved — and we have got it first hand, because the husband is an ex-journo known to this paper.

Shah Rukh Khan, of course, neither confirmed nor denied his role in the heartwarming incident — characteristically, he just kept himself elusive! But this is the story...

Gurgaon-based Kandula Subramaniam's marriage was on the rocks, he and wife Krishnakoli Dutta were living separately for a while, and the depressed husband was doing everything possible to win his wife back. But in vain. Until Kandula remembered that Krishnakoli was a big Shah Rukh Khan fan. And he figured the Bollywood supremo, who features on the 'Most Powerful' lists of international magazines and portals, might just be able to swing his marriage around for him.

Desperately, he sought SRK's e-mail address and wrote the actor an impassioned letter explaining his dismal circumstances and imploring him to step in and try and bring Krishnakoli around. Shah Rukh, still busy untangling the IPL mess and working on his next film Ra-1, took remedial action promptly. On May 18, which was Krishnakoli's birthday, she got a phone call. And on the line was her idol!

After wishing the stunned woman a "happy birthday", careful not to intrude on her private space, SRK requested Krishnakoli to try and give her estranged relationship with Kandula another shot. Hugely surprised by this suggestion from the most charismatic love ambassador of Hindi cinema, Krishnakoli promised to try and make things work with her husband.

The story ends there. We have no footnotes to add on whether Krishnakoli and Kandula have patched up yet. It is too early to say so. But we do know she was touched that he had done this for her. At first, she couldn't believe that it was SRK on the line, she thought somebody was pulling her leg. Kandula said, "When you want to bridge the gap, then you try everything in your power. After praying to God, I thought the next best thing was to try and reach out to Mr Khan. Somehow deep within me I knew that if I wrote to him, he would make the call.''

Shahrukh Khan’s one phone call saved a marriage

Even a phone call can save a marriage especially, if the caller is some one like Shahrukh Khan. The Bollywood Badshah is very busy clearing up his IPL mess and his upcoming project, Ra. 1. In the middle of all this, he received a very emotional letter from a man named, Kandula Subramaniam, who lives in Gurgaon. He and his wife, Krishnakoli Dutta, have been living separately.

Their relationship turned sour and Subramaniam tried every thing to win her back but nothing worked. Then it came to Subramaniam that Krishnakoli is a big fan of Shahrukh Khan. Subramaniam, in desperation, tried to contact Shahrukh Khan.

He found Shahrukh Khan's email address and wrote a heartwrenching mail describing his marriage and his relationship with his wife. He requested the Bollywood superstar to help him to bring back Krishnakoli.

Though a super busy man, Shahrukh Khan took out time to help Subramaniam. On May 18, 2010, on her birthday, Krishnakoli received a phone call which came from none other than her favorite Bollywood hero, Shahrukh Khan.

Shahrukh Khan wished Krishnakoli Happy Birthday! and then earnestly requested her to give another shot to her estranged relationship with Subramaniam. The actor was very cautious as he did not try to invade her privacy or make her angry.

After hearing about her relationship with her husband from Shahrukh Khan, Krishnakoli was very much surprised. She at first thought some one is playing jokes on her but then she understood that it was Shahrukh Khan for real.

Krishnakoli promised Shahrukh Khan that she would try and make things work with Kandula.

Sounds very FILMY but it is a true story and Shahrukh Khan did not disclose the story. Times of India reported it because Kandula Subramaniam used to work for the newspaper once.

SRK at Tag Heuer’s 150th anniversary

Shah Rukh Khan and Karun Chandhok recently celebrated watchmaker Tag Heuer's 150th anniversary in Gurgaon. SRK and the F1 racer kicked off the Tesla World Tour: The Odyssey Of Pioneers – a traveling roadshow that exhibits TAG Heuer's finest timepieces in 15 cities .

For the purpose, TAG and electric carmaker Tesla Motors have collaborated to launch the TAG Heuer Tesla Roadster, a one-of-a kind car, which will go on the 15-city world tour, spanning Basel, Monaco, Milan, Budapest, Warsaw, Moscow, New Delhi, Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, London and Paris. TAG also organised an exhibition of its 16 historical timepieces and three watches for the future – the TAG Heuer Pendulum Concept, Monaco V4 and Carrera Calibre 1887 Chronograph, on the occasion.

Karun and SRK gave the Roadster a try when they got behind the wheel and drove it on to the stage. The evening also saw the premiere of the TAG Heuer Grand Carrera Pendulum, a 2010 concept watch, which is the first to have movement without a hairspring. It was unveiled by Shah Rukh Khan and Jean-Christophe Babin, President & CEO, TAG Heuer. "I have had a deep relationship of mutual admiration with TAG Heuer for the 7th year running now. It's exciting to welcome the TAG Heuer-Tesla Roadster into India," said SRK. Karun added, "While I've been working closely with TAG Heuer for a long time now, being signed on as an official brand ambassador on its 150th anniversary makes this even more special for me. As a Formula One Racer, I am thrilled to drive the TAG Heuer Tesla Roadster."

HUL signs Shahrukh as Pepsodent brand ambassador

FMCG major HUL today said it has signed on Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan as the brand ambassador for its toothpaste brand Pepsodent and is likely to launch its first campaign featuring the star this week.

"Bollywood superstar and a devoted father in real life, Shah Rukh Khan has been signed on as a brand ambassador to lead by example and drive the campaign message," Hindustan Unilever (HUL) said in a statement.

The company said the new campaign called 'Papa & Pappu' is aimed at encouraging fathers to "spend quality time with their children and make brushing more fun."

While the company has not confirmed when the campaign will be on air, it is learnt that the TVC will be launched this Friday.

According to market research firm Neilsen, Pepsodent's market share in March in volume and value terms stands at 22.

Electric car maker Tesla Roadster to coincide with the 150th Anniversary celebration of TAG Heuer has collaborated to release a one-of-a-kind collector's car called the TAG Heuer-Tesla Roadster which incorporates the defining TAG Heuer avant-garde design and celebrates the core values of both brands: innovation, precision, prestige and performance.

This roadster which is on an exclusive world tour of 15 cities - Basel, Monaco, Milan, Budapest, Warsaw, Moscow, New Delhi, Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, London and Paris – also saw TAG Heuer organise an exhibition of its 16 historical iconic timepieces and 3 watches for the future – the TAG Heuer Pendulum Concept, Monaco V4 and Carrera Calibre 1887 Chronograph – called the Odyssey of Pioneers which is meant to showcase TAG Heuer's finest timepieces of past, present and future in 15 cities.

Mumbai: Actor Shah Rukh Khan is apparently struggling very hard with his injuries while shooting for his next superhero movie. The actual list of his injuries is already huge and on top of that he has consistently aggravated every weak point of his body over the past few years by pushing the envelope.

A source says, "His first injury was the hairline fracture on his knee cap that he sustained while shooting for Koyla in 1995-96. After that Shah Rukh tore a shoulder muscle while shooting for Dulha Mil Gaya for which his shoulder was strapped for more a month. Then it was his back injury, a slip disc, that he sustained while shooting Main Hoon Na in 2004 for which he had to undergo a minor surgery."

Due to these injuries it's becoming a difficult task for Shah Rukh to maintain his six-pack abs. His trainer Prashant Samant says, "I don't think there's anything that can stop Shah Rukh. When he wants to do something, he goes ahead and does it. I do have to take extreme care about the fact that he has a few injuries."

Prashant relies more on cardio exercises for Shah Rukh rather than weights.

"When you are injured, you can't lift weights. That might rule out a lot of exercises but it is still possible to maintain a six-pack," the source says, adding SRK will go in for one more rehabilitation programme in the US soon. "He won't go into quick-fix solutions anymore and he will be undergoing one more treatment programme in the US."
