Indian film star Shahrukh Khan arrived in Dhaka on Friday afternoon to participate in a concert due in the evening at the Army Stadium.
Shahrukh Khan, his wife, children and the entourage reached Shahjalal International Airport in a special aircraft of Jet Airways at about 3:00pm, Prothom Alo reports.
Heavy security has been arranged for Shahrukh and the whole team for the time they will stay in Dhaka.
After taking a brief time-out at a city hotel, he will start preparing himself for the concert starting at 7:00pm, the organisers of the concert said.
The Indian film actor was scheduled to reach Dhaka Thursday midnight. But due to bad weather, his journey had been postponed.
