What Is Shah Rukh Khan planning to retire from Bollywood?

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been the heartthrob of a million. Though the actor has turned 50 but he still has the charm of a 25 year old.

Shah Rukh, also known as the ‘King of Romance’, recently recreated his magic in his latest release ‘Dilwale’ opposite Kajol.

And now the actor is all set to amaze everyone with his upcoming movie ‘Fan’ which is helmed by Maneesh Sharma.

While King Khan will be seen in an entirely different look in the movie, the teaser of the ‘Fan’ has already won the hearts of SRK fans across the country. The audience are reportedly having high expectation from the movie.

However, it seems the ‘Dilwale’ star is planning to retire from the career now.

It’s true and Shah Rukh himself has revealed his retirement plans.

Recently, while SRK was talking about him upcoming movie ‘Fan’ he was asked if he expects the movie to sweep all the awards, Shah Rukh jokingly said, “I am just waiting for the National award as I have decided to retire after getting one.”

He also opened up on his character in ‘Fan’ and stated playing a superstar and his young lookalike admirer in Fan was physically draining but a “very interesting and schizophrenic” experience.

“Physically, it was extremely challenging to become 24. The prosthetics took about four hours… The guy is a lookalike of someone who he loves. His story is a lot similar like mine. He follows the star as he feels the star is from Delhi and he can also be like his idol some day. But the story is different… To capture all that was very interesting and schizophrenic. I just hope that I have turned it out just okay,” Shah Rukh said.

SRK, who finished shooting the Yash Raj film that is currently on its extensive post-production, says it was tough to transform himself into a 24-year-old person every day with the help of prosthetics.
