SRK replaces Saif in the adaptation of ‘Two States’

Latest reports reveal that Shahrukh Khan has replaced Saif Ali Khan in critically acclaimed director Vishal Bhardwaj's screen adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's bestselling novel 'Two States'

The film was earlier announced with Saif and Priyanka in the lead, which was to be directed by Sidharth Anand. But now with the change of director, producer Nadiadwala has also replaced Saif with Shahrukh, who will portray the lead along with a new girl in the film.

An insider from the industry confirmed, "Sajid is producing Vishal Bhardwaj's film starring SRK. It's an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's Two States, and Sajid has bought the rights to the novel."

Friendship jeopardized in the battle of Khans
Film industry has witnessed many incidents where actors, who were once best of friends turned into foes. Similar is the situation with Salman and Shahrukh.

Sajid Nadiadwala has been a part of the family for Salman. But when Sajid decided to produce his latest venture with SRK, it was very natural for Salman to be upset with his decision.

The film industry has almost been divided into two warring camps, Salman and Shahrukh.

Even Saif, who has given his career best performance in Vishal Bhardwaj's earlier, might find himself at loss for suddenly being replaced by SRK.

Interestingly, Nadiadwala's film 'Kick', starring Salman, has been postponed as 'Ra.One', starring Shahrukh, goes on to the floors first.

These incidents might ignite the matters even more as friendships in Bollywood have always treaded on a thin line.
